| Reverse description | The reverse features a bold, high-relief rendition of Saint George on horseback, depicted in the tradition of the classic Benedetto Pistrucci sovereign design, thrusting a lance downward to slay a writhing dragon beneath the horse's hooves. The knight is shown in flowing drapery with cloak billowing dramatically behind him, the horse rearing in dynamic motion above the defeated beast. A small circular privy mark bearing a right-facing portrait effigy of King Charles III appears in the upper right field. The inscription '2025' is engraved in the lower exergue, while '.999 5oz Cu' is inscribed vertically along the right margin of the field. The design is framed by a fine toothed border around the entire circumference. |
