| Obverse description | The obverse is struck in the form of a Christmas sweater and features the coat of arms of Ghana centrally positioned on the chest area, comprising a quartered shield supported by two eagles with a black star above and the national motto scroll reading FREEDOM AND JUSTICE below. Flanking the central arms are stylised Christmas trees in relief, one on each sleeve, with decorative snowflake motifs scattered across the field. Below the arms, the legends FIVE CEDIS and REPUBLIC OF GHANA appear in two lines, followed by the celebratory inscription Merry Christmas rendered in an ornate cursive script. At the lower portion of the field, the fineness and date are inscribed as 1oz Ag999 and 2025. |
