| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the ornate Ottoman tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, rendered in high relief with characteristic calligraphic loops and vertical strokes. The tughra is surrounded by an elaborate decorative border of intertwining floral vines, scrolling arabesques, and stylized blossoms that fill the entire periphery of the coin. Below the tughra, the regnal year numeral (٢٠, denoting year 20 of the sultan's reign) is inscribed in Arabic-Eastern numerals.
