| Obverse description | Printed in dark violet-brown on a pale rose guilloche underprint, the obverse carries the title inscription 'Kassenschein des Kreises Mayen.' in Gothic blackletter at the top. The denomination 'Fünf Millionen Mark' is set in large ornate blackletter script at the centre, flanked left by a vertical panel reading 'FÜNF MILLIONEN' in letterpress. Authorisation text referencing the Reichsfinanzministerium, a validity clause, the date 'Mayen, den 20. August 1923', the serial number prefix 'No', and a manuscript signature above the caption 'Der Landrat:' appear in the lower portion. |
