| Obverse description | Dark green letterpress on light grey-green paper, framed by a fine ornamental border with repeating geometric motifs. The denomination is rendered in large calligraphic script reading FÜNF MILLIONEN across the centre, with arabic numeral 5 in each upper corner, and the legend Gutschein to the upper left alongside an approval notice from the Reichsfinanzministerium. Below the main denomination text, a two-line redemption clause names the Stadt Freital and carries the issue date 25.
