| Obverse description | Green letterpress Notgeld note with a divided left panel containing two agricultural vignettes framed by wheat ears: an upper oval scene of a sower in a field and a lower oval scene of a horse-drawn harvesting machine. A serial number box appears at upper left, with the denomination numeral 5000000 in bold Gothic type at the lower left panel. The right half carries the issuing authority name in Fraktur script at the top, the denomination in large ornate lettering, a full legal text body, the issue date M. Gladbach 8.
