| Reverse description | Central device consists of a bold cross of the Order of Christ set within a quatrefoil formed by four large circular lobes, each lobe decorated with trefoil leaf ornaments at the junctions. The cross is plain and elongated, with squared terminals, occupying the full height of the quatrefoil. The date 1695 appears in the upper portion of the surrounding legend, with the full Latin inscription distributed around the circumference between beaded inner and reeded outer borders. |
