Obverse description The redesigned Bolivian coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a condor with wings spread perched atop a beaded oval cartouche enclosing a mountain landscape with a llama, a palm tree, and a radiant sun rising at upper left. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering against a mirror-proof field. Ten five-pointed stars are arranged in a semicircle along the lower border, with the CHI mint mark of Valcambi SA visible at the base of the design.
