Obverse description Draped bust of Queen Isabella II facing left, her hair elegantly coiffed and tied at the back with a ribbon, rendered in high relief in the Neoclassical style engraved by Luis Marchionni. The effigy occupies the central field with fine detail in the drapery at the truncation. The circumferential legend reads ISABEL 2A · POR LA G · DE DIOS Y LA CONST, with the date appearing in the lower exergual area flanked by small pellets. The coin is struck in .900 fine gold with a beaded border framing the entire design.
