| Reverse description | The reverse is printed on a cream ground within a black border and centres on a large oval yellow cartouche suspended from a decorative ribbon, containing the validity text and two manuscript signatures. Flanking the cartouche symmetrically are two classically styled yellow amphora vases with scrolled handles, each surmounted by a colourful arrangement of books and a red cap. A red serial number appears in a ruled tablet at the base of the central cartouche, and the printer's imprint is lettered along the bottom margin. |
