| Obverse description | Uncut sheet of four 10 Pfennig coupons arranged in a two-by-two layout, each coupon bearing a large red denomination numeral '10' within an oval guilloche border of green circular ornaments set against a red-ruled octagonal frame. The issuer name 'Königsaue' appears in Gothic script along the lower edge of each coupon. A central circular vignette between the four coupons carries the combined face value '40' in red with the inscription 'gültig bis 4 Wochen' (valid for 4 weeks). The date 'Königsaue, d. 10. 21.' and the authority line 'Der Gemeindevorstand' with a manuscript signature appear in the central horizontal dividing strip; the printer's imprint 'LOUIS KOCH – HALBERSTADT' and the designer's name 'W.
