Reverse description The reverse of the host Ottoman 40 Para (KM-670) displays a central Arabic numeral denoting the denomination, surrounded by a circular Arabic legend identifying the mint and date of issue. The inscription reads in concentric bands around the central value marker, with the mint name Qustantiniyah (Constantinople) legible in the lower portion of the legend. The field is filled with dense cursive Arabic calligraphy in the Ottoman chancery style, contained within a plain raised rim. The surface exhibits moderate wear consistent with extensive circulation prior to countermarking.
