| Obverse description | Typeset note printed in violet on plain cream paper, with a dotted decorative border running along all four sides and enclosing circular ornamental corner pieces bearing the denomination numeral '40'. The central text block, set in blackletter (Fraktur) typeface, carries the full legal declaration of issue, the place and date of issue, and the mayor's name, with the anti-counterfeiting warning printed in a smaller typeface along the lower margin. |

| Obverse lettering | Gutschein der Gemeinde Lebing. Die Gemeinde Lebing, pol. Bez. Perg in Oberösterreich, gibt laut Beschluß vom 3. Juni 1920 Gutscheine im Gesamtbetrage von 28.000 Kronen aus und haftet für die Verbindlichkeit, diesen Gutschein bis 31. Dezember 1920 bei der Gemeindefasse in gesetzlichem Bargeld einzulösen. Lebing, am 3. Juni 1920. Der Bürgermeister: Karl Ohlinger. Nachmachung dieses Scheines wird ges. bestraft. |
