Obverse description Full-length effigy of King Juan Carlos I standing facing, dressed in military uniform with hands clasped before him, centered within a beaded inner circle. The Spanish royal coat of arms appears to the lower right of the figure. The date 1990 is split by the effigy in the lower field, with '19' to the left and '90' to the right.
