Reverse description A ceremonial procession scene depicted within a beaded inner circle, showing bishops carrying a reliquary box commemorating the translation of the relics of Saints Rupert and Virgilius on 24 September 1628. The figures are rendered in the baroque style characteristic of early seventeenth-century Salzburg coinage. A Latin legend encircles the central scene, commencing at 12 o'clock, identifying the two patron saints and the date of the solemn translation of their relics.
