Reverse description A large imperially crowned double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head shown in profile facing outward and bearing open beaks. At the center of the eagle's breast is an ornate quartered heraldic shield bearing the combined arms of Hungary, Bohemia, and Austria. The eagle's talons are visible at the base. A circular Latin legend surrounding the device enumerates Ferdinand's additional titles as Infante of Spain, Archduke of Austria, and Duke of Burgundy.
