| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the arms of Grand Master Martin de Redin, consisting of a gridded or latticed pattern divided by a bold cross, surmounted by a large ornate crown. The denomination numeral '4' appears to the left of the shield and 'T' (for Tari) to the right, flanking the escutcheon within the field. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the central device by a beaded inner border. The date 1658 is incorporated within the legend at the base of the coin. |
