Obverse description Armored bust of Grand Master Francisco Ximenez de Texada facing right, wearing a decorated cuirass with the eight-pointed Maltese Cross visible on the mantle. The portrait is rendered in a baroque style with fine detail on the armor. The circular Latin legend reads F. D. FRAN. XIMENEZ DE TEXADA. M., with the date 1773 (or 1774) appearing in the lower exergue separated by small pellets. A beaded inner border frames the entire design.

Reverse description Crowned oval shield bearing the quartered arms of the Grand Master Francisco Ximenez de Texada, divided into quarters depicting a castle and a rampant lion, flanked on either side by ornamental branches — a palm branch to the right and an olive branch to the left. The denomination numerals T and 4 appear to the left and right of the shield respectively, indicating 4 Tarì. A beaded border runs along the coin's periphery.
