| Obverse description | Armored bust of Grand Master Francisco Ximenez de Texada facing right, wearing a decorated cuirass with the eight-pointed Maltese Cross visible on the mantle. The portrait is rendered in a baroque style with fine detail on the armor. The circular Latin legend reads F. D. FRAN. XIMENEZ DE TEXADA. M., with the date 1773 (or 1774) appearing in the lower exergue separated by small pellets. A beaded inner border frames the entire design. |
