Reverse description The denomination and identity of the coin are presented entirely in five lines of bold upright capital lettering filling the central field, reading: *4* / SKILLING / DANSK / SKILLE= / MYNT. with the date 1807. on a sixth line and the mintmaster's initials M.F. below. Small six-pointed stars flank the numeral 4 at the top. The reverse is entirely typographic in character, with no figurative devices, the legend clearly identifying the piece as Danish small change (skillemynt).
