| Obverse description | Central field displays a crowned royal arms of Denmark, featuring three passant lions within a shield, surmounted by an arched crown rendered in relief. The shield is set against a plain field, with a beaded or linear inner border separating it from the outer legend. The peripheral Latin legend runs clockwise around the circumference, identifying the king by name and invoking divine right.
