Reverse description The shield of Jersey's heraldic coat of arms occupies the central field, displaying three golden leopards passant guardant arranged in pale on a red ground, rendered in bold relief. The date 1937 is divided by the shield on either side at mid-field. The encircling legend STATES OF JERSEY appears in the upper portion of the periphery, while the denomination legend MODEL FOUR SHILLINGS runs along the lower portion, all separated by small lozenge stops. A beaded border frames the entire design.
