Obverse description Crowned royal cypher of Carl XI occupies the central field, the interlaced initials surmounted by an elaborate crown. A continuous Latin legend encircles the device, the entire composition presented without an inner circle, giving the design an open, unbordered appearance characteristic of this variety.
