| Obverse description | Within a wreath of laurel branches tied at the base, the crowned royal cypher of Carl XI (Charles XI of Sweden) appears in the central field, composed of the interlaced initials 'CRS' (Carolus Rex Sueciae) surmounted by a large royal crown. The wreath frames the monogram symmetrically, with no legend present. The overall design is simple and heraldic in character, typical of Swedish provincial copper and silver issues of the mid-seventeenth century. |
