Obverse description Undraped, bare-headed bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, with short cropped hair and a draped mantle at the truncation, rendered in a neoclassical style. The effigy occupies the central field, with the mint date 1813 prominently displayed in the lower exergual area. The circumferential legend reads FERDINANDUS VII · DEI GRATIA ·, interrupted by the bust. The coin is struck within a milled border of fine beading encircling the entire design.
