Reverse description Bold Jerusalem cross with flared terminals occupying the central field, flanked by rampant lions and castles alternating in the four angles formed by the cross. A partial circular legend surrounds the cross along the periphery of the irregularly shaped cob flan. The strike is characteristically uneven, as is standard for hammered macuquina coinage of this period, with portions of the design and legend lost to the flan's irregular edges.
