Obverse description Crowned draped bust of Carlos II facing left, wearing a rayed crown, with long flowing hair visible behind the neck. The effigy is rendered in a somewhat crude, provincial hammered style characteristic of late 17th-century Majorcan coinage. The bust is enclosed within an inner beaded border, with the Latin legend partially visible around the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan.
