| Obverse description | Right-facing bare-headed bust of Martin Coles Harman, owner of Lundy Island, rendered in high relief against a flat field. The circumferential legend reads MARTIN • COLES • HARMAN, separated by raised bullet stops, with the date 2011 inscribed in the lower exergual area. The rim is defined by a continuous border of fine beading. The portrait is executed in a bold, sculptural style characteristic of early twentieth-century commemorative coinage. |
