Obverse description Central field occupied by an elaborate interlaced cursive royal monogram 'FW' in large script, surmounted by a princely crown with cross finial and pearl band. The mintmaster's initials 'F.R.' appear in small Roman capitals at the lower center of the field. The design is executed in a refined neoclassical engraving style with the monogram rendered in flowing calligraphic strokes. The coin's edge displays a decorative leaf-pattern security milling.
