Obverse description Elaborately interlaced royal cypher 'FR' (Fridericus Rex) surmounted by a Prussian royal crown, the monogram rendered in a bold calligraphic style and framed by symmetrical foliate and scrollwork branches that fill the field to the coin's milled border. No legend appears on this face; the decorative composition occupies the entire obverse in a baroque design characteristic of mid-18th-century German minor coinage.
