Reverse description Cast copper reverse featuring a prominent decorative wave pattern (nami) radiating outward from the central square perforation toward the outer rim. The design consists of multiple overlapping scaled or fan-shaped wave segments arranged concentrically around the hole, a motif characteristic of the Bunkyū Eiho 4 Mon series and serving as the primary diagnostic field for distinguishing die varieties. The wave elements fill the entire reverse field between the inner rim of the square hole and the plain outer border, with no inscriptions present. Subtle differences in wave height, the position of wave 6 relative to the inner rim, and the dot placement on the character 永 on the obverse collectively identify the specific die variety.
