| Reverse description | A short cross pattee with flared terminals occupies the full reverse field, its four arms reaching to an inner beaded circle. At the center of the cross, a small pointed escutcheon bears the initial letter I, identifying the issuing lord. The surrounding Latin legend in Gothic script runs between the inner beaded circle and the outer rim, and the flan retains the characteristic irregular plancher typical of hammered low-country mites of the period. |
