| Obverse description | Central field displays a large crowned royal cypher of Frederik III within a beaded inner circle. The monogram is rendered in an ornate Baroque style typical of the period. Surrounding the inner circle, the king's personal motto forms the outer legend, inscribed counterclockwise beginning at the left of the crown. The legend is presented in Latin capital letters, separated by pellets. |

| Reverse description | Central design features the crowned Danish shield of arms, with a characteristic spiked bottom and cut upper angles, superimposed upon a cross whose lower arm extends to and partially beyond a beaded inner circle. The heraldic shield displays the quartered arms of Denmark in typical Baroque presentation. The value inscription and date form the outer legend, reading counterclockwise from the left of the crown, separated by pellets, with the date appearing at the conclusion of the legend. No mint marks are present on this type. |
