The shield is flanked on either side by axe-like supporters or ornamental elements, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The peripheral legend DOMINVS : PROVIDEBIT (The Lord will provide) runs around the coin between the beaded border and inner circle, with the legend interrupted at top by the crown. |
