| Obverse lettering | CHRIST • VI • D • G • REX • DAN • NORV • V • G • (Translation: Christian VI, by the grace of God, King of Denmark, Norway, the Wends, and the Goths.) |
| Reverse description | A large, ornate royal crown occupies the central field, depicted in high relief with detailed beaded arches, fleur-de-lis and leaf ornaments at the intersections, and a cross pattée at the apex. Beneath the crown, the motto DEO ET POPVLO is inscribed in two lines within the inner circle, flanked below by the mintmaster's initials C and W separated by a heart symbol. The circular outer legend reads IIII • MARK • DANSKE • followed by the date 1731, with star-shaped stops as separators. The design is framed by a dentilated border and is characteristic of the restrained yet dignified Baroque style of the Copenhagen Mint. |
