Reverse description Central device features the crowned Danish royal shield of arms, displaying the quartered coat of arms with the hearts of Denmark and the lions passant, set partially within a beaded or rope inner circle. A large cross with broad arms extends behind the shield, filling the inner field. Outside the circle, a clockwise Latin legend states the denomination in full, terminating with the date; the legend reads from the right of the crown. The overall composition follows the standard heraldic style of late 17th-century Danish coinage.
