Reverse description The elaborate crowned greater Arms of Denmark occupy the central field, composed of a five-part quartered shield bearing the arms of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Goths, and the Wends, with an inescutcheon displaying the arms of Schleswig, Holstein, Stormarn, Dithmarschen, Oldenburg, and Delmenhorst arranged about a central cross. The achievement is encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Elephant, rendered in fine detail. The mintmaster's initials G and S appear divided at either side of the shield. A Latin legend along the rim records the denomination and date, reading IIII MARCK DANSK 1680.
