| Obverse description | Central field displays the denomination in four lines reading IIII / MARIEN / GROSCH: / F.SILB: / C., separated from the surrounding legend by an inner circle. Small rosette or mullet ornaments flank the numeral IIII at the top of the central inscription. The peripheral legend around the coin names the ruler in Latin, with the date appearing to the lower left of the legend. The overall design is characteristic of late 18th-century German small silver coinage, with a bold, clearly legible typographic style. |
