Obverse description Crowned Hohenzollern eagle displayed at center, with a shield on its breast, set within elaborate baroque cartouche and foliate scrollwork. The date 17-63 appears split to either side of the central device. The denomination numeral '300' is inscribed within a stylized cartouche at the base, indicating the fineness ratio of 300 to one fine mark of silver. The circular legend reads '300 EINE FEINE MARK SILBER', running along the outer edge in Latin script.
