| Reverse description | A long-armed, footed cross extending to the edge of the coin divides the field into four quarters, each containing a passant lion in relief. At the center of the cross stands a small escutcheon bearing a double-headed eagle, serving as the central boss. The design is typical of late medieval Low Countries groschen coinage, with the quadrant lions referencing the arms of Guelders. A circumscribing Latin legend in uncial script frames the entire composition. |
