| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing left, her hair elaborately dressed and bound with a headband, rendered in neoclassical style. The effigy occupies the central field, with fine detail visible in the curled tresses falling to the nape of the neck. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA arcs around the periphery, with the date 1826 displayed in the lower exergual area between two raised dots. The coin's milled border frames the design with a fine toothed rim. |
