Obverse description Unadorned bare head of Emperor Agustín I (Agustín de Iturbide) facing right, rendered in low relief with short cropped hair and a strong classical profile. The mint mark 'Mo' and date '1823' appear below the truncation in the lower field. The circular legend surrounds the effigy, separated from the toothed border by a close inner rim.
