| Reverse description | A large three-masted warship under full sail is depicted in the centre of the field, rendered in fine engraved detail showing rigging, furled sails, gun ports along the hull, and waves beneath the keel. The word TANDEM is split across the field flanking the masts, with TAN to the left and DEM to the right, serving as a continuation of the pious motto in the surrounding legend. The date 1664 appears in the exergue, with the Copenhagen mint mark (shamrock) incorporated between the digits. The outer legend DOMINUS ✤ PROVIDEBIT encircles the composition within a beaded border, completing the motto: The Lord will provide at last. |
