| Obverse lettering | FRID · IIII · D · G · DAN · N · V · G · REX · (Translation: Frederick IV, by the grace of God, King of Denmark, Norway, the Wends, and the Goths.) |
| Reverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of the late King Christian V facing right, similarly rendered in high relief with flowing long curled hair in the Baroque manner, closely mirroring the style of the obverse portrait. The truncation is draped in robes with engraved detail. A circular Latin legend encircles the effigy along the periphery, identifying the deceased monarch as a tribute to dynastic continuity. The border is finished with a beaded inner rim consistent with the obverse. |
