| Obverse description | Equestrian portrait of Frederick August I facing right, depicted as a crowned and armoured ruler astride a prancing horse with flowing mane and tail. The sovereign wears a royal crown and military attire with a draped mantle, holding the reins with authority. Beneath the horse, in the lower field, appears a crowned oval cartouche bearing the electoral arms of Saxony. A small cross mark appears in the upper right field. The coin is framed by a toothed (milled) border. |

| Reverse description | Two kneeling allegorical figures face one another in the central field, each presenting imperial regalia: the figure at left holds an orb and sceptre surmounted by a crown, while the figure at right presents a sword and electoral bonnet, symbolising Frederick August I's role as Imperial Vicar following the death of Emperor Joseph I. The legend is arranged in multiple lines across the field and exergue in Roman capitals, concluding with the Roman date MDCCXI and the engraver's initials I·LH.
