| Reverse description | A five-line religious inscription in bold capital letters — BENE / DICTVS SIT / IEHOVADЕВS / 1680 / 4·DVCAT: — enclosed within an elaborate baroque cartouche formed by scrolling acanthus foliage, laurel branches, and floral festoons, surmounted by a small imperial eagle at the apex and flanked by pendant drapery. The mintmaster's mark appears in the lower exergual area of the cartouche. The entire design is executed in high relief against a smooth field, with a milled border surrounding the composition. |
