| Obverse description | Fleur-de-lis (giglio) of the Este dynasty, surmounted by a ducal crown, all depicted in relief within a beaded border. The heraldic lily is rendered in a stylized baroque manner, with the crown resting prominently above the central charge. No legend appears on this face, the design occupying the full field of the coin. |
