| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet; the helmet bowl is rendered in low relief with visible neck guard. A six-pointed star appears in the lower field before the goddess, serving as a dynastic or celestial symbol. The surfaces are worn and the flan is irregular, consistent with the hammered bronze coinage of the early Armenian kingdom. The style reflects Hellenistic artistic influence prevalent in the Armenian court during the second century BC. |

| Reverse description | Standing figure of Athena Nike facing left, depicted in long chiton and himation, extending one arm forward in a characteristic Nike-like pose; the figure occupies the central field of the coin. The surrounding Greek legend, partially visible due to wear and the irregular flan, reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΑΡΤΑΥΑΖΔΟΥ, identifying the issuer as Artavasdes the Great King. The lettering is arranged around the periphery in a circular fashion typical of Hellenistic royal bronze coinage. The reverse fabric shows significant corrosion and die wear, though the central figure remains identifiable. |
