A bilingual legend in Devanagari arcs along the upper periphery reading 'श्री गुरु तेग बहादर जी के 350 वें शहीदी दिवस का स्मरणोत्सव' and a second inner arc reads 'गुरु तेग बहादर सिमरिऐ'.
