Reverse description Central field features a full-color applied image of two pigs — a large sow and a smaller piglet — set against a naturalistic landscape background with blue sky and green foliage, rendered in vivid polychrome. The legend YEAR OF THE PIG arcs along the upper border in raised Latin lettering, beneath which the Chinese characters 丁亥 (Dīng Hài, denoting the sexagenary cycle year) are inscribed in the field. The date 2007 appears at the base, flanked by decorative Greek-key meander ornaments forming the inner border. The inscriptions 1 OZ to the left and 999 SILVER to the right of the central image indicate the coin's weight and fineness. An outer beaded border frames the entire design.
