| Reverse description | A large Chinese treasure junk under full sail occupies the right-centre of the field, depicted in fine detail with multiple masts, battened lug sails, and pennants flying from the mastheads; a smaller vessel is visible in the middle distance to the left. A textured circular sun motif in a stippled field appears to the left of the main ship. Chinese characters reading 'Zheng He xia xi yang liu bai zhou nian' (郑和下西洋·六百周年, meaning '600th Anniversary of Zheng He's Voyages to the Western Oceans') flank the lower field. The legend 'VOYAGES OF ZHENG HE · 600TH ANNIVERSARY' curves along the upper rim, and the fineness inscription '20 GM 999 FINE SILVER' appears in the lower exergue. |
